【Even the logo was decided by the kids】

KPJ members from Akamae, Miyako City in Iwate prefecture started the project in August and quickly held a meeting to decide on a logo for the project.

The kids all gave their opinions, “Shall we have it with or without a pen? If it’s going to be on a T-shirt it needs to be like this, and if it’s on a bag, like this. Light blue looks good…” The bag that the kids will use to carry their equipment for the project was the most urgent and was completed a few days ago. The kids are all responding exceptionally.

We are not sure whether it’s a logo or a mascot but the kids are wondering whether it would be better to give it a name. If you can think of one please let us know!

Should we call it a logo? Perhaps its more of an iconic mascot. I’m thinking it ought to have a name. If you think of an apt name, let us know!
