This is a photo report from the Tamada sisters of Yuriage branch who were interviewed by Asahi Shimbun recently. This March, just before the fourth year of the Great East Japan Earthquake, both of them took their photos at a place that impressed them.
First this report was sent from the older sister Reina Tamada.

On 9th March, I went out to take a photo in miserable rain.
This is a construntion site and I took the photo at the sign “Keep Out.” In the rain workers were repairing the breakwater that was destroyed by the tsunami. It made me think the workers are always doing what we cannot do for Yuriage.
Thanking them again today for Yuriage.
This is the vacant lot of my much loved uncle and auntie’s house.
I am happy with this photo because the flower and incense are in the frame. It makes me so sad and brings tears thinking about the loved ones and memorabilia lost in one second by the Tsunami.
My dear uncle and auntie, please look over us today too.
